BREAKING: A Jan. 6th insurrectionist who rushed police at the Capitol while armed with a firearm is slammed with a whopping seven years in prison.

Treasonous Maryland man Christopher Alberts has been found guilty of nine charges tied to his involvement in the deadly insurrection, including assaulting cops and carrying a gun on Capitol grounds.

In addition to carrying a firearm, Alberts was strapped with metal-plated body armor and carried a gas mask, making it clear that he believed that he was going to literal war to overthrow the government.

He also threw a bottle at police and urinated on the Capitol building.

Alberts was one of only 55 people to actually be arrested on Jan. 6th itself after police noticed the gun in his holster as he was trying to leave the area.

"Since his January 6, 2021 arrest, Alberts has expressed no remorse for his crimes, instead seeking praise for being a ‘hero’ and ‘protector’ during his assault on the Capitol while slandering the police officers who valiantly struggled that day to protect it," wrote prosecutors.

This is justice. Locking up these fascists it the only way to ensure that Republicans never attempt another violent coup to keep their leader in power.
