Refugios en momentos difíciles y autocrítica

🐨:Mis amigos y yo llamamos a esos refugios 'las colinas' (hills). La naturaleza es siempre el mejor terapeuta. El 70% del territorio coreano son montañas, así que podemos ir a hacer senderismo en cualquier ciudad. Las montañas, los ríos y el mar son mis profesores y terapeutas.
Y sobre todo mis amigos, porque a veces no me caigo bien a mí mismo cuando siento que estoy demasiado obsesionado con las relaciones. Siempre me pregunto: '¿Puedes estar a solas por un segundo? ¿Por qué siempre necesitas a alguien con quien hablar o con quien ir de viaje?

¿Puedes dejarte estar solo durante una semana?'. Me resulta muy difícil no hacer nada y estar a solas. Pero mis amigos, mi familia, el arte, la música, la arquitectura y los libros son las 'colinas' en las que siempre tengo que apoyarme. Ahí es cuando me doy cuenta de que soy demasiado débil y que siempre necesito de ellos.

Ser fuerte comienza por admitir tus debilidades, tus defectos y tus fallas... y yo tengo demasiados defectos. Tal vez soy muy duro conmigo mismo porque crecí en Corea, que es un país muy intenso. Pero de ahí viene la contradicción: eso es exactamente lo que hizo a Corea ser lo que es. Lo amo, pero lo odio al mismo tiempo.
