i know it has been a while. i have been planning to continue things with the cafe (and I still am!!) but life has grown quite busy, and I need to conserve my mental and emotional energy for a bit. hence the official announcement.

When I started writing Learning to Bloom, I barely knew anything about the tannies at all. You can chart my getting to know them by the story- the members show up in the order I learned more about them.
I mentioned this in my author notes, but JK's daughter in Petals and Patterns was inspired by my son. He has autism and didn't speak until he was almost 3. When he wanted my attention, he would cup my cheek and move my face until we made eye contact
