What makes BTX different?

MatMul PoW.

Instead of only competing on hash puzzles, BTX miners perform finite-field matrix multiplication.

Production parameters use 512×512 matrices, with around 134M field multiplications per attempt.

A sigma pre-hash gate filters most invalid nonces before the expensive MatMul path.

Transcript compression cuts hashed data from roughly 33.5 MB to about 131 KB.

Freivalds verification helps nodes validate the result efficiently, with two rounds giving false-positive probability below 2^-62.
