Clearly many people need to hear this,

if a trans person tells you you're being transphobic, something you *DON'T* get to do is decide that you aren't being transphobic and that the trans person was incorrect. You don't decide that, you need to listen and be better.

even if you dismiss the testimony from numerous jews of color that police presence makes them less safe at shul--WHICH YOU SHOULDN'T--but EVEN IF you did, there is so much more work we need to do to make our communities safe.
