@murphsturph@WRAL Although, NC State investigating ianythin improper is a bit rich. They have a history of impropriety in basketball and… they hired Wade, the king of the strong ass offer, in the first place.
@mrlongshore Do you really think TTU would be supporting and fighting like this for their third string quarterback? They would have cut them loose on day one.
NEWS: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.
@AnnieAgar Umm…. No. The worst is that there is a victim that was harmed by somebody. That’s far worse than someone being a suspect or being investigated.
Someone in the comments made a great point. If you can only transfer once, what happens when the coach or a new coach runs a player off who has already transfers once. Coaches force players out all the time.
✍️ What's in the new proposed Senate bill for college sports:
- 1 transfer for undergrads
- Five years of eligibility
- Can't hire another school's coach during season
- Freeze conference membership in SEC/B1G
- Allow pooling of media rights if 75% of FBS agrees
- Enforce tampering + rev share rules
- Not for or against athlete employment

@PeteThamel@max_olson Good for him. I hope it worked, but it still
Doesn’t absolve him of breaking pretty clear rules. I honestly believe if everyone were held more accountable there would be less rule violations.
So it’s ok to kill someone trying to have an abortion in a state where it’s still legal to have an abortion? The absurdity of the so-called pro-lifers.
I’d be onboard with most of this. I would add that there is a one-time immediate transfer. After that you can still transfer but with sit out for a year or if you are in good academic standing you can transfer at the end of the semester, after grades are submitted.
NEW: Sens. Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell have introduced bipartisan legislation, The Protect College Sports Act:

@fried_egg_golf Maybe. But 1) Miami is not a great sports town when it comes to fan support and 2) being held at a Trump property contributed to the poor fan support as well. I for one choose not to watch any of the event on TV because of that. Neither will change for next year.
