Consulting firms are the cleanest laundering mechanism in politics. No inventory. No transparency. No product. Just “advice.” Payments routed from nonprofits, advocacy groups, PACs, donors, and contractors who all have one thing in common… they need access, protection, or favorable outcomes from the very officeholder connected to the consultant.
