You will come onto this platform, happy about the money you’ve made, only to feel like shit because some dude posts a PNL of 300 gorillion dollars on a single trade.

For the love of God, do not fall into this comparison mindset. Trading is a personal journey, and everyone trades at their own pace.

Some of us have been here for years now, and it is unfair to compare one’s progress with a strangers online. We make the biggest mistakes by risking too much in a market that will literally rise effortlessly.

You don’t know their story, or how much they’ve lost before their big win. Therefore, it is nonsensical to compare your journey with theirs. What matters is that you’re making progress, not what others are making.

Never fall into this trap. It’s how you over play your hand, and put yourself in positions you cannot manage. A million dollars for someone can be the equivalent to your 10,000. To them, it’s another trade. For you, it’s your entire stack.

Never go to 0 on a single idea. A trader is only down and out when their war chest hits 0. Focus on yourself, and shut out the noise.
