The joys of listening to @Feargal_Sharkey at @YorkFestofIdeas call everyone out, including environmental charities, about the systemic failures in water regulations.
Hearing his voice boom around the room - *chefโs kiss*
People have travelled great distances to support their teams and womenโs rugby in general. A wasted opportunity to promote York.
@theyorkmix@yorkpress@YorkStadium
Weโve been to the rugby at the LNER and it was brilliant. Fantastic atmosphere but thereโs barely no indication that thereโs World Cup matches with international teams. Even flags from different countries would be something. Soulless. People have travelled free
@YorkCityFC I hope that #YCFC give a big public thank you (and a donation?!) to York Against Cancer @YorkAgainstCanc for loaning out all of the umbrellas to protect everyone from the sun.
A sea of blue ๐
One week later โฆ how many gallons of water per hour have been pouring out?
Local nature area flooded. Insects having their habitat reduced day by day. Water gushing into the #riverfoss#bigriverwatch@YorkshireWater
Iโm aghast at how much water has been leaking continually . Gushing into river (letโs hope itโs clean water), flooding a nature area and making it dodgy for pedestrians. I canโt be the only person whoโs been reporting this @YorkshireWater#york

.@CityofYork#YorkMix have just published that you are quitting using X.
Will you be on BlueSky?
What other means do people have to contact you across social media. Facebook is horrible and works very differently to here.
Many thanks
@YorkshireWater Thank you. Itโs frustrating that this keeps happening. It needs to be properly addressed. Always same location. I dread to think how much water has been leaked this week.

@YorkshireWater Yes. Three times.
One yesterday
One earlier today and one just now.
The road has been like this for 4+ days. Only now aware of just how much is also entering the river.
This has happened several times in past few years
This is far from the extent of the inland flooding #NewEarswick
This land is home to a wide diversity of plants and insects.
Big River Watch starts tomorrow . Sad that this will be my first survey.
@SkyHelpTeam Iโve tried that. Numerous https://t.co/SgBwdTHEZX just sends me found in circles.
By the time the date arrives itโll be too late and still be charged for not being in.
