Teman satu regu Jeonghan mau berbagi cerita tentang Jeonghan selama pelatihan gara-gara dia liat iklan ‘selamat atas selesai wamilnya Jeonghan.’

Menurutnya, banyak hal yang bisa dia syukuri dan dapat dijadikan pelajaran hidup dari mengenal seorang Yoon Jeonghan. Jeonghan yang ia lihat saat tinggal bersama 24/7 di barak adalah sosok yang benar-benar apa adanya, bukan sekadar citra seorang idol.

• Jeonghan dan cerita sebagai penata rambut 💇‍♂️
Di awal perkenalan Jeonghan mengaku bekerja sebagai penata rambut dan semua orang percaya. Cara dia mengatakannya sangat meyakinkan bahkan OP sempat berpikir, "Memangnya ada penata rambut setampan ini? Pasti appointment-nya selalu full booked."
(setelah farmasi terbitlah hairstylist. gimana ya, gila-gila main mafia parah sih han wkwk)

Setelah tahu Jeonghan seorang idol, OP baru sadar cerita itu tidak masuk akal karena Jeonghan terlalu tampan dan kulitnya lebih bagus daripada peserta yang paling muda.

Ada masa dimana mereka hanya mengenal Jeonghan sebagai "hyung tampan + baik hati + mood maker" tanpa tahu bahwa ia adalah idol terkenal.

Jeonghan sendiri bilang itu masa-masa yang menyenangkan. Saat teman-teman hanya berpikir, "Hyung yang tampan ini kepribadiannya luar biasa. Dia selalu membuat suasana barak jadi lebih hidup."

Dengan mereka yang tidak tahu siapa Jeonghan sebenarnya di awal, mereka bisa berkenalan dengan santai tanpa prasangka atau ekspektasi apa pun.

OP mengatakan bahwa Jeonghan benar-benar orang yang luar biasa. Dia merasa dirinya cukup pandai menilai karakter seseorang, tetapi baru kali ini bertemu dengan orang yang setulus dan sebaik Jeonghan.

Jeonghan tidak pernah mencari pujian atau pengakuan atas kebaikannya, ia hanya penuh perhatian dan memperlakukan orang lain dengan tulus.

JEONGHAN’s squadmates during basic military training shared some stories about jeonghan during training, and you can really feel that jeonghan is just such a genuinely kind and wonderful person😭💓 this warmed my heart so much, i’m in tearsㅠㅠ (everything below is just a summary, but it somehow turned out way longer than i expected😭)

- op was in hongdae (june 25) and happened to see an ad congratulating jeonghan on his discharge, which reminded him of jeonghan and made him to share these stories about jeonghan during basic military training. there were so many things he was grateful to jeonghan for, and that there was so much he could learn from jeonghan as a person

- op said people might say that celebrities only show their good side, but op genuinely believes that the jeonghan he saw was his true self. since op spent 24/7 with jeonghan in the same barracks and squad, so he was able to witness many different sides of jeonghan

- their squad had 14 people, so all 14 of them slept in the same room throughout basic training. the funny thing is that, at first, most of them, including op, had no idea who jeonghan was. maybe one or two people recognized him, but they pretended not to

- during introductions, jeonghan introduced himself as a hair designer😭 he was so convincing that op completely believed him and even thought “a hair designer this handsome really exists? his appointments must always be fully booked”😭 looking back now, though, it makes no senseㅋㅋ because jeonghan is WAY too handsome, and his skin was even better than the youngest guy in the room. when op found out how old jeonghan was, he almost fainted😭

- for quite some time, no one in the squad realized that jeonghan was a famous idol, until something happened that revealed it

- there was time jeonghan once said that those days were really fun for him. back then, they simply thought “that handsome hyung has such a great personality and always keeps the atmosphere in the barracks lively. he must just be a genuinely good person” because they didn’t know jeonghan was an idol, they got to know him without any preconceived idea or expectations

- op thought about jeonghan “he is truly, truly an amazing person” op considers himself pretty good at judging people’s character, but he never met anyone as thoughtful and considerate as jeonghan! someone who never tries to show off or seek recognition for the kindness he shows to others

what makes these stories so precious is that they met jeonghan not as an idol, but as a person.

no stage, no spotlight, not SEVENTEEN’s jeonghan — just yoon jeonghan.

someone who shared meals, made space for people, and cared in quiet ways.

to be loved on stage is beautiful.
but to be remembered kindly in ordinary rooms, by people who simply knew him as himself, says everything.

woke up so early, and then i saw this, now i’m tearing up 🥹 someone who was in the same training camp as jeonghan shared a story about him

– op said jeonghan introduced himself as a hairdresser 😭 since he was so handsome, they couldn’t believe that he was a hairdresser because his skin was so nice and smooth. only later did they realize that he was actually an idol.
– jeonghan kept the training center’s atmosphere bright and fun. he constantly engaged and played games with them, his dorm members preferred playing with him over watching tv.
– they playfully competed with jeonghan in daily training center activities (like gun speed, shooting targets, and flipping water bottles), but jeonghan’s excellent “motor nerves” made him won every day 😆
– jeonghan patiently and sincerely taught younger peers how to dance to seventeen’s choreography (super), even helping a peer who wanted to dance for his girlfriend 😭
– he smoothly got along with everyone regardless of their personality, connecting easily with both the younger recruits and peers who initially looked intimidating or had tattoos.
– during deep night time conversations op said he is incredibly mature, deep-minded, and considerate.
– he quietly took care of squad members who felt marginalized or left out, doing so subtly without drawing attention to his good deeds.
– op said they noticed how deeply jeonghan cherishes his group members (svt) 🥹 so much so that it inspired op to look up their variety show, going seventeen.
– op respected him for who he is as a human being, as yoon jeonghan, rather than just because he is a celebrity.
– after leaving the center, jeonghan took the time to organize a reunion, making a restaurant reservation, arriving early to wait for everyone, and buying them a meal 🥹
– op admits they previously held stereotypes about kpop idols, but jeonghan completely shattered those preconceptions with his profound maturity and admirable character.

this warms my heart so much 🥹 thank you so much op for sharing this story about jeonghan. everyone liked him not because he was an idol, but because of who he is 🤍
