1/ Recently a lot of people have asked me how I manage to pursue two master degrees at the same time, work full-time, and take on side projects. I can pretty much sum up how I do this in one word, @notionhq.
Here’s a thread on how Notion has helped me keep my sanity 😂
@iamireneyu It’s usually a cross functional exercise between product and other stakeholders. But our HOP typically has an idea of where we want to track towards.
By layer I mean it pulls directly from our data warehouse where all our event information lives. Here’s a look at what I mean:
@iamireneyu Yeah, it’s essentially just a layer on top of our DBs that aggregates the information. PMs always set up the dashboards.
It’s part of my daily ritual to see how the metrics my Squad owns is doing, and if there’s any meaningful insights I share out the dashboards with the group
@iamireneyu Yupp! I use it almost daily in my current role. And you can easily create shareable dashboards to send to stakeholders/devs if they ever want to explore the data themselves, which saves me a couple meetings a week 😂
I hit 30 days of the new job and it’s like
- OKRs are due yesterday
- here’s your team, combined tenure of 4 months
- you’ve basically been here a long time
- please share roadmap?
- ⛴⛴⛴
- product bursting at the seams
This is why I joined a startup but still 😬🔥👩💻😳
The west is still using QRCodes totally wrong. A QRCode on a restaurant table that opens the menu is not really what we want. A QRCode can be unique to the table and allow food ordering directly to it. Should carry state and context.
