Decades before Auschwitz, Germany ran Shark Island in Namibia, a site of systematic extermination. Starvation, forced labour, torture, and death for thousands of Herero and Nama people. Bones shipped for racial experiments. Today it’s a tourist campground. Justice remains absent.

@SusannaN2 .@SusannaN2 you're spot on there. That's why a "fix" is urgent. This sort of subjugation leads to one thing - a violent uprising. The early years of so-called independence in Africa led to such violent uprisings. Today, parts of Africa (East Africa for example) is "boiling".

In 50+ yrs @Survival, fighting for tribal peoples’ rights in many places I was banned by just 1 – Botswana, for fighting Basarwa eviction fm a ‘reserve’ where a mine was planned.
