@NYPost_Brazille That being said Tam at 325 million is a sign of the ridiculous over- valuation of players created by LAs atrocious Ohtani contract. Without LA skewing the entire market, Yam gets nowhere near 300 million.

@NYPost_Brazille I don't buy that Yam wanted to be a Dodger. Ohtani was the selling point. Yam made it clear he'd like a Japanese player on the team. NYY could have signed Lee, who played in Korea but is Japanese by birth, and bolstered their bid and the OF.
