Few of these upgrades/retrofits to do lately, last one of 5. Not sure who the company was, but they gone apparently. Sad…
Used a couple existing soil probes, and added new ones as well
Has all the #BushLinx ag calculations now included, and actual backup service
@Think_Agri Glass half full….. or half empty Kate.
For us, May sowing date is common. Yes bit light on for summer stored deep moisture but crops are looking good. Just strap in and ride the roller coaster home now. 🎢
Lots of volunteer Canola pressure this year. Pulled out an old classic herbicide brew for great results. These are 5 days post spraying.
Wasn’t happy the job Triathlon did 4 years ago so decided to change. Very happy with results.
Does anyone have any knowledge of Cereal Ryecorn tolerance to Overwatch? Failed crop situation, where Overwatch applied 8- 10 weeks ago. Looking to prevent further wind erosion. Picture only for attention. It’s a picture from last year that I fixed with Ryecorn
Showing some of my SA based colleagues one of the great culinary delights from Kaniva Butchers. Southern Fried Chicken. 👨🍳🍗😋
Also gave it a spray of my secret spices to keep the positive vibes high with the 2025 dry start.
@MichaelHCOU@maleastwood Maybe so, however don’t underestimate the value of sowing date, variety selection, crop rotation, pest management & physical soil constraints
First go at some Lentils @ Telopea on sand. Happy with what we have, but think there’s a few easy things to tweak to make this a serious option moving forward.
Checking LRPB Matador crops & trials after good recent rains at Bordertown, SA. A lot of fun when one of the agros is your Son! Thanks Gus & Western Ag.
A timely dose of Miravis Star back in early Oct has been critical to best choc spot management I’ve seen this year. Just wish I knew this would be the case and do every pdk like this. Plenty other fungicides applied this yr but decision by grower to do his beans with Miravis 👏👏
@TRethus@dyerjonathan I agree see that all the time. Maybe higher rates needs complete diff management than the norm🤷♂️. But Devils advocate comment here…. unless you have section control those same areas on headland year in year out also get double P fert at seeding.
@dyerjonathan More so plants/m2 = ⬆️ yield. When I suggest to give it a try, Growers often reply with, “but I don’t want crop to lodge”. this year has shown that even 15-20plants/m2 has lodged so why not give higher a try. 😁😁
Western Ag Team Agronomists all the way from Vic visiting today our 2022 Gibson WA Industry Leading #Hyola Innovation Systems Trials plus Winter vs Spring Grazing & N Management trials. Great Research & Extension @AgingAgro@Seasagro@Robghia3518@PacificSeeds@ag_western@hurgl1
@jafedele72 Glypho is once in a lifetime chemical. Been around since 70’s. it’s kinda like asking if there’s a new Don Bradman coming. Not gonna happen. There might be very good alternatives that will still be good options
Couple of observations so far for 2022 - Glypho Resistance for us⬆️. Removing internal fences ✅✅. Overwatch in canola for grass control and Capeweed suppression 💗💗💗
