@Jacob_bunce@Kevin_Noon Why does reclassifying change any of that? The only difference is that he would have started learning the system a year earlier. If you are the head coach of the team, you are responsible for the outcomes related to the team. The outcome was a not quite as bad Burrow 2.0
@ItsJarrJarr @Kevin_Noon So is the argument that he committed to OSU for NIL money or left OSU for NIL money? Can’t have both. He absolutely would have sat out 2022 and taken reins in 23. 22 was supposed to be his true freshman season
@bosshawg36@CJ7STROUD He never planned to beat out stroud. The only reason you’d abandon the opportunity to start for Ohio State, even after a long wait, over a 5-7 Texas team is if Ohio State didn’t prove they wanted you
@ItsJarrJarr @Kevin_Noon 0 difference between Texas and Ohio NIL. Could have done same thing at Texas. You can’t let a recruit like that walk and they did. Quinn is only member of 2021 recruiting class to beat Michigan by the way
@Jacob_bunce@Kevin_Noon Common misconception. No difference between Ohio and Texas NIL law. He could have reclassified to Texas and did the exact same thing. Probably more opportunities since he’s from there. Instead, he went to Columbus for a year and Ryan Day screwed the pooch
