Great performance from Darkness Falls to win the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket. Aidan O'Brien's colt has won both his starts since appearing in my Close Up And Personal Column in @RPWeekender at the beginning of September and is now a worthy 6-1 favourite for next year's Derby.

Congratulations to @Jessica_Racing and The Austrian, who made it 2-2 since appearing in my @RPWeekender column, landing the feature race at Thurles today at odds of 13-8f.

@ManCity Is that why you left?

[marcus @BucklandMarcus]

@JBONAMASSA This has made my night. 😂

@Everton Welcome to Everton, Brennan. We're delighted to have you. COYB!

[marcus @BucklandMarcus]

Well done to Oliver Cole's Dr Rascal, who maintained his unbeaten record with a gutsy win in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes at Goodwood today. He'd featured in my Close Up And Personal column in the @RPWeekender after his Ascot victory earlier this month.

@mickmcSNB May as well be joining the vauxhall conference. Good riddance if there's any truth in this story.

@IanSZNian Kasey Keller

@Everton I'm fed up of all the haters and nasty comments @GNev2 that surround @JPickford1 all the time. He's almost single handedly kept Everton in the PL in recent seasons. Without doubt world class and a true legend for both club and country.

@Niallhannity @RacingTV @BHAHorseracing @RacingPost @nickluck @Johnston_Racing @SportingLife @sarahkilby1 Congratulations on a fantastic career, Joe. An absolute legend in my eyes and certainly nobody better from the front. I wish you all the very best for the future.

Congratulations to Ian Williams' Aalto, who confirmed his recent promise to win the Bunbury Cup for second time. The 6yo featured in my @RPWeekender column last month and was advised ante -post at 10-1.

@dazzie_666 @efc_cain Spence was on loan from Boro to Forest during their promotion season

Amazing cloud in the Germany v Paraguay game. What can you see?

[marcus @BucklandMarcus]

@JBONAMASSA Congratulations Joe. It was a fabulous album and fantastic live show

[marcus @BucklandMarcus]

@BBCSport I noticed this cloud formation in the early moments of the Germany v Paraguay game. Looks like a person looking down

@officialcharts @JBONAMASSA It's fantastic, Joe. Shows Rory off perfectly and you again excel as the magnificent musician and singer you are.

@JBONAMASSA I meant to say I got my copy earlier today. Sometimes our phones make us look like complete idiots.

[marcus @BucklandMarcus]

@JBONAMASSA I could my copy delivered earlier today, can't wait to see it later this evening. ❤️
