Through joint efforts between the heritage team and enforcement team, the case went all the way to the High Court, resulting in an injunction to cover the roof. The roof is now covered, allowing the interior to dry out after being exposed to the elements for an extended period.
A recent example involved a Grade II listed public house. All the roof tiles were removed without consent, leaving the roof structure exposed to the elements for many months.
