Yes, under a long-term G2G commercial agreement since 2017 (renewed annually), India's Numaligarh Refinery exports diesel to Bangladesh via the Friendship Pipeline.

2026 quota: 180,000 tonnes.

Recent delivery: 5,000 tonnes started arriving March 10, 2026 (part of the annual deal approved Jan 2026).

Bangladesh's bulk price: ~₹51/litre. India's domestic retail: ₹87-90/litre (incl. taxes/margins). Refined from imported crude (Russia etc.). Ongoing trade, not a one-off sale.

Under a long-term G2G deal, India supplies ~180k tonnes/year to Bangladesh via pipeline at ~₹50-55/litre (bulk wholesale price based on Platts + fixed premium; recent 180k tonne batch cost ~$119M).

Domestic retail diesel in India is ₹87-92/litre (e.g. Delhi ~₹87.6, Mumbai ~₹90) due to central excise + state VAT/taxes (~50%+ of pump price), which don't apply to exports.
