Anyway, this is common among corrupt politicians; how it works: When someone wins, they get approached by someone offering the winner more money(all cash) for the winning ticket. It's basically money laundering

@BehindMoon_Q For 2FA via authenticator(the code generator), you can have it on multiple devices at the same time, like an old tablet or smartphone, so if your main smartphone breaks, you don't lose access

@FakeTaxedBrass I try sometimes, looking for "best episodes", it's mostly pre-11 season, pick a recommended newer episode, it's horrible. The writing, the lack of iteration/polishing, the way they work with famous people like it's a cheap ad, when in the past they succeeded, ex. the MJ episode

With no DRM, physical is an ornament, like an anime figurine, but instead of being an extra revenue source for the anime studio(licensing), it causes losses by replacing a more efficient one, digital. Without DRM, you can make physical yourself anyway

@throwawayread8 @digitalfoundry Assume it's a license & pay accordingly for something you can't resell. If the game is 70€ & expect to sell for 35€ you are willing to spend around 35€ on that game. Piracy does a better job than second-hand for those who can't buy the game. Buying rewards the people behind it

Some Sony fans are asking not to remove physical, but physical doesn't matter if they can disable your game. Stop Killing Games tried to improve consumer rights, but EU higher-ups took down the proposal after being lobbied by VGE: Sony, Nintendo, Activision, Ubisoft, EA, etc

@digitalfoundry That's like asking for a softer whip. What matters is DRM free & no online connection required. If you care about freedom and preservation, ditch consoles, on PC you can buy on any store(ex. GOG), run on any PC, & use any controller. Use Steam BigPicture/SteamOS for nice UI

@onlineinsane Once I missclicked, the coupon button was tiny at the bottom of the huge place order button(all on purpose), cancelled immediately to do it correctly, they cancelled my order and charged the money anyway, and told the restaurant to not make the order, @UberEats stop scamming ppl

At least consoles in the 90s were simple(put disc/cart, play)

Now consoles have the bad stuff from before, like more expensive games, DRM, proprietary accessories, plus modern crap like paid online

God bless DRM-free PC games with no online check, you can even make 'em physical

@Stealth40k Nah, keycards without game inside still is a digital game, ain't as bad as cloud games from the first Switch, or pure digital linked to account, but still bad, and depends on servers. The way to go is PC games with no DRM and an offline installer, GOG https://t.co/UEaqzvLjKT
