Disasters come and go, but they always leave behind painful stories.
From the flood and landslides in Sumatra, Indonesia, we witnessed tragedies that break the heart:
1.A son carrying his mother, her body covered in mud, knowing she is no longer alive.
2.A father searching for his child for days, refusing to stop until he finds answers.
3.A husband showing his wife’s photo to rescuers, his voice shaking as he cries and begs for help.
4.A young child trapped beneath mud and debris, struggling for life.
5.A body drifting down the river, with no one there to claim or hold it one last time.
There are many more heartbreaking stories… far more than I can ever fully write.
!! Urgently Need HELP !!
It’s been a week since the floods hit East Aceh, and there is still ZERO official AID.
My families are stranded, communication is down, and people are running out of food!!

warga kabupatenku udah pakai bahasa inggris, means my people trying to reach out international community for help. terus masih ada yang nyangkal status bencana nasional ga perlu dan ga penting....
442 dead and 402 missing.
What happened across Sumatera was never just nature. These are symptoms of systemic wounds, and it demands structural repairs. Nothing less.
My deepest condolences to all families affected.
May recovery come swiftly.
