Aw, this is little Bubzi, who visited Bud this morning. His owner came a few hours later asking if I'd seen him - and he's still missing. If you live in Burnage/Levenshulme, keep your eyes peeled. PLEASE RT.
Fun Fact! #Elephants hate #bees. Their trunks are very sensitive and bee stings really hurt. In olden days farmers would ring their fields with bee hives to keep elephants away. A much better option than putting a bullet in the elephants head!
Why do we love bees but hate wasps?
A lack of understanding of the important role of wasps in the ecosystem and economy is a fundamental reason why they are universally despised whereas bees are much love... https://t.co/Wgit3Hpsmy
The garden willows are flowering and hosted their first bumblebee visitors today (well probably not the very first ones, but the first ones that I've seen)

We've got some lovely new pots for houseplants, made in Germany 💚
Nope, we don't sell pots made in China: never have, never will. P.S. I don't care that you've visited the Chinese factory where your products are made (that's the response I get when I make enquiries).
The homeless man was so embarrassed and kept apologising, my heart broke for him! Such a big company like @sainsburys should be helping the homeless not treating them like scum! I won’t be shopping there again #furious#disgusted#rude
Excited to publish the competed 5 year research study into "Which Garden Plants Attract the most Bees". Plants can be both aesthetically pleasing and great for wildlife. Hopefully this research helps gardeners achieve both. https://t.co/6tBu8tvt6H #plantsforbees#bees#wildbees
