read more books. read to escape reality. read to understand reality. read to challenge what you believe. read to think better. read to write better. read to argue better. read to know yourself. read to build something. a single book can completely rewire your brain.
I’m not a fan of anyone who makes someone’s sexuality a byproduct of their trauma, whether that’s Andrew being gay as a byproduct of his sexual abuse or Neil being ace as a byproduct of his mother’s physical abuse-
I am so so interested in how Riko is going to be portrayed through Kevin's pov. Again, nothing changes the fact that Riko's shitty excuse of a person , but I am still curious about all that is to him. I just kind of want to see him as a more multidimensional person
(two glasses of wine is) so we do agree that we've all only ever seen one side of Riko and while there's nothing to excuse his behaviour, it is also clear that there's more to his character, evidence A: kevin's untouched shrine in the nest, evidence B: riko's family relationships
I love having conversations with people who actually know a thing or two about literature irl because it saves me the entire pretentious, self-centred discourse that tends to surround literary discussions online
i believe in re-reading and re-watching your favourite books & movies at different stages of your life. the plot never changes, but your perspective does.
