I have been silently observing your administration in Delhi and the work you have undertaken across the city, right from the time you became the CM of Delhi NCR.

Right from the time, you cleared the ill famous Kude ka Pahad, landfill sites, Okhla, Bhalswa, and Ghazipur.
To the cleaning of Yamuna river and the construction of ghats for Chhath.
To tackling the problem of waterlogging under the bridges during the monsoon.
To the launcing of the MCD 311 App where a mobile application allows one to take a photo of open manholes or dumped garbage and geotag the exact location. It sends the issue straight to the local wards sanitation or engineering team.
To properly disposing pujan samagri and khandit murtis, while preventing them from ending up in the Yamuna and contributing to water pollution.

I dont know whether Delhites have appreciated you or not, but I am impressed and inspired.

2,435 kg of waste removed from Gurugram in one massive cleanup drive!

On Day 2 of CleanWithBittu, Bittu and his team reached Khedki Daula, Gurugram, and got straight to work.

The area was covered in plastic and discarded waste posing a serious danger to stray cattle that can accidentally consume plastic while feeding.

But this time, the garbage didn’t stay there. With the support of local residents, 2,435 kg of waste was cleared from the area.

Next stop: Yuva Shakti Ghat, Noida, where Bittu is calling on people to join the effort to clean the Yamuna banks.

A man with memory issues got lost during a pilgrimage in Amritsar and somehow ended up 1,200 km away in Gaya, Bihar.

83 year old Chaman Lal from Fatehgarh Gujran village, Ludhiana, could barely remember anything except the name of his village. Hungry, confused, and unable to explain where he belonged, he was spotted near Gaya railway station by a local construction worker named Neeraj.

Neeraj took him home, fed him, sheltered him for 4 days, and spent 3 days searching online and using ChatGPT to identify the village. He finally traced Fatehgarh Gujran near Machhiwara Sahib, Punjab.

But here's the part that restores your faith in humanity:

Neeraj didn't just buy him a ticket.

He personally traveled with Chaman Lal from Bihar to Punjab, showed his photo around local communities, and eventually connected him with his family. Local resident Master Krishan Lal recognized him, and his grandson Sukhchain Singh rushed to confirm his identity.

The family, who had been desperately searching and sharing his photo on social media, welcomed Neeraj with garlands, clothes, and gifts in gratitude.

In a world full of bad news, this story is a reminder that kindness still travels farther than any train.

IIT Bombay faculty Forum says he followed the Senate approved exam procedure when he reported second year student Sahil Wakode for alleged phone use on Sept 18. Wakode died by suicide hours later

His family has named Doolla in an FIR under BNS Section 108 and the SC/ST Act, alleging caste based harassment. The institute rejects the caste charge. Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating.

During my https://t.co/zANOEvvHvH, most of us had no idea what caste our batchmates belonged to. Many of my close friends were SC/ST. We never discussed it. It never entered any conversation or decision. Not once. Our exposure to the humanities department was limited, though — the term "Brahmanical patriarchy" didn't even exist back then.

As a teacher, I don't ask a student's name before solving their doubt. Often I don't know their name at all — some of my classes have 300+ students. We treat them all the same. So does every colleague I know. So did every professor who taught me.

Social media has now filled vulnerable students' heads with a lot of manufactured grievance about caste discrimination that, in my experience, doesn't exist.

There are 196 tribes on Earth that still refuse all contact with outsiders. Brazil has 115 of them, more than any country, and its government flies planes over their villages on purpose.

The flyovers exist because of a brutal catch in how Brazil protects land. Forest only gets shielded as Indigenous territory if FUNAI, the Indigenous affairs agency, can prove isolated people actually live there. No proof, and loggers and miners move in. So agents photograph longhouses and gardens from the air, confirm the tribe exists, and never land.

The word "uncontacted" hides the real history. Most of these groups descend from people who met the outside world during the rubber boom a century ago, when enslavement and disease killed roughly 90% of western Amazonia's Indigenous population. Their ancestors ran deeper into the forest and never came back out.

The ones who did come out show why.

The Nahua in Peru were contacted in 1984 after oil exploration opened their land. Half of them were dead within a few years, mostly from colds and flu. The Matis in Brazil were contacted in 1978. Five years later, 87 of them were left. The Panará lost 80% of their people in the eight years after a highway was bulldozed through their forest.

A respiratory bug that costs you three days on the couch can erase half a village with no immunity to it.

So Brazil settled on the strangest conservation policy on Earth. Prove they exist. Guard the borders. Never say hello.
