Walking up my front door, I looked across the street and the neighbors have a lit and decorated Christmas tree in their picture window already, as well as a few other tasteful Christmas decorations out. My immediate gut reaction? “overachievers…🤨🙄” 😂
@johngreen@jellis_much Strange perspective: I’m like a 4 or 5 if I close my eyes and try to imagine/picture something, but eyes wide open planning something/describing something to someone and I’m a solid 1, even with all the distractions.
First thought: “is there a way for the cage to win? I REALLY want the cage to win.”
Second Thought: “NICOLAS CAGE! Oh now I really want someone to be like ‘Surprise! By Cage Match we meant you both have to fight Nicolas Cage.’ The Cage would definitely win.”
@jellis_much It’s my Monday morning routine :) lists and alarms for the week 👍🏽
Yeah, I feel that 100%- if I get in the habit of hitting snooze, or saying “I’ll leave in a minute” I’m totally screwed. Gotta train myself like a lab rat to stop whatever I’m doing when I hear that sound 🐀 😅
@sparklightcares is your customer service model to have terribly spotty internet service, but then by only having chat bot customer service on your website, which eventually redirects you to a phone number with no answering machine, make it impossible to complain? Brilliant.
Setting in class, someone next to me raised their hand and the professor did not see them, so I was tempted to high-five them... 🙃 you know, intensive week entertainment.
You know the advantage the band “Garbage” has over bands like “Hole” and “Lit”? That honesty in marketing makes them easier to share… “I mean, they’re Garbage, but I kinda like them.”
Also, tours in the late 90’s had to have amazing names. I’d go see the “Lit Garbage Hole” tour
You ever hear a bumper song on @NPR and say “Hold up, this totally slaps. I’ve gotta go find it and listen to more from the artist right now.”? Me too:
