With a heavy heart, we're cancelling development on Buddymon. We loved every second of development. Wish we could've shared more.
Mr Buddy needs to focus on himself for a while, and we don't want to continue without him.
We'll be going on to make a new game:
Catch Em Company!
would have hurt both the project and my mental health. It's not over, though. Ill be passing the torch onto my dev team, who are going on to develop a new original game called Catch Em Company https://t.co/XI03rcJluh and I know they're gonna make something amazing. (2/4)
Hey everyone, important update about Buddymon. After a lot of reflection and tough conversations, Ive decided to cancel development for the foreseeable future. I realized I wasn’t in the right place mentally, emotionally, or creatively to lead it anymore, and continuing (1/4)
In Catch Em Company, your play the founder of a creature catching company whose actions and choices affect the game's world!

What extra features should we develop for Buddymon?
We are currently experimenting with extended features and would love to hear your suggestions! #gamedev
@RandomAccess64 Good ideas for more dynamic interactions with buddymon! We feel that overusing overworld encounters may be less impactful and immersive if creatures are scattered randomly all over like they were in SV, so we're trying to design more impressionable moment-to-moment interactions💙
Out of the box suggestions are welcome, especially as Buddymon is an evolving project which we haven't done a proper reveal for yet. We're sorry we can't share more, but wanted to poke around for suggestions anyway!
@LionOhDay Great points on personalizing your own Buddymon! We're always pondering how we can take that aspect to the next level, so that we can all have Buddymon that feel unique and special to us <3
We haven't updated you in a while, as we've been busy developing Buddymon behind the scenes. Sorry about that.
The time to reveal is drawing near, and we can hardly wait to show you what we've been working on!
