@Itz_aminPAPi@Thesentinelz@MasterBolaji Your update is wrong and misleading. I interact extensively with 2 major FTZs in Nigeria and can tell you that they are a huge manufacturing arm. The duties on imported finished goods are very discouraging for them to compete on prices. Any likely finished import will be minimal
@Benny_ODHOMI@MasterBolaji This is very simple, buy from Chinese importers and sell at fairly mark up prices. If any, this cry should be for Nigerian manufacturers and not traders! There’s no justification for exploitation as high as over 500%. It is pure wickedness!!!
@Thesentinelz@MasterBolaji In the first place, this isn’t true. Don’t make government the scapegoat for the unwarranted exploitative agenda of some wicked traders. FTZs is not for imported goods, but Chinese coys that produce locally, and they’re open to all traders to buy from there.
@Nnunu41@MasterBolaji So the Chinese didn’t ship and pay to clear their own goods at the seaports before selling at the reduced prices abi? Please let’s be reasonable!!!
@officialABAT@_AfricanUnion@africaceoforum This president is ideology personified! Too often, some global agencies relegates Africa to the back seat, denying the continent the funding opportunities it desperately needs. Kudos, sir! 👏🏽
@UAbulkadir@BashirAhmaad@MSIngawa Not a fan of this govt, but I guess the global economic & political landscape has changed from the time you’re referring. The world has witnessed general inflation, and Nigeria more impacted by massive naira devaluatn. In my view, we can’t have the world of the past in a short term
