Our discussions highlighted ACDC’s advocacy successes in securing funding for nutrition initiatives including the Baby-Friendly Community Initiative and Malezi Bora activities and increasing budget allocations for child immunization programs in Nyandarua County.

Despite being in operation for less than two years, ACDC has made notable contributions to policy and budget advocacy in Nyandarua County. The organization has played a key role in supporting the development of the county’s Triple Threat Strategy and the Nyandarua Agenda Policy.

ACDC was established through mentorship and capacity-building support from HENNET member organization @YSW_Kenya and has grown into a strong community-led voice for development and accountability.
