James Talarico sounds moderate. That’s the trick. Calm voice.
Soft tone. Youth pastor energy.
Then he stands on the Texas House floor and says if you don’t vote to restrict AR-15s, you’re ignoring God’s messengers.
Think about that.
He invoked God to push gun control.
To restrict a God-given right.
Your ability to protect yourself and your family with the most effective tool possible.
And if you disagree?
The implication is clear:
You’re anti-God.
That’s the play.
Guilt works on good people, and they know it.
But look at the record.
Assault weapons ban.
Magazine ban.
Against constitutional carry.
Against Second Amendment sanctuary protections.
That’s not moderate.
That’s an Everytown wish list with a Sunday school delivery.
The politician who says, “I support the Second Amendment, but…” is the one you need to watch closest.
Because if this works in Texas, it becomes the template everywhere.
Do you think Texas voters will see through it?

Trump is not a gun guy. But he may still be the most pro-Second Amendment president we’ve ever had.
And this clip explains why.
He’s sitting in the White House with a room full of ranchers talking about walking through wolf country.
Then he basically asks:
Do people actually walk around without guns?
Come on, man.
That is the most normal, instinctive, plain-English Second Amendment answer you could give.
Most politicians do the same routine:
“I support the Second Amendment, but…”
Then everything after the “but” is a restriction.
Trump skipped the “but.”
For him, it’s simple.
Bad things happen.
You carry a gun for protection.
Now was he perfect?
No.
Bump stocks were bad.
“Take the guns first” was bad.
But the bump stock ban got thrown out by a Supreme Court he helped build.
And without Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett, we probably don’t get Bruen.
That’s the case that forced every state to give regular people a pathway to carry.
So no, Trump may not know guns like a gun guy.
But he understands why you own one.
That matters.

5 things I wish every woman knew BEFORE buying her first gun:
1️⃣ Don’t let your husband, boyfriend, dad, brother, or the guy behind the counter choose your gun for you.
2️⃣ Smaller doesn’t always mean easier. Tiny, lightweight guns can actually be harder to control.
3️⃣ You ARE strong enough to rack the slide. Technique and leverage matter more than brute strength.
4️⃣ Try before you buy, if you can. A gun can feel great in your hand and completely different once you fire it. Find a range that rents guns so you can test a few before making your decision.
5️⃣ Buying the gun is just the beginning. Safe handling, storage, understanding the law, and professional training come next.
Your first gun should be one YOU can safely and confidently operate.
You can do this ladies!
