While her stalker fled, the broader crisis of unprovoked street violence against downtown women continues to escalate.

Chicago’s downtown has seen a deeply disturbing pattern of random physical assaults against women:

The "Loop Punchers": Multiple serial offenders have terrorized women in broad daylight. In late 2025, repeat offender William Livingston was arrested again for striking multiple women, including a north suburban mother of 11 who was left unconscious with severe facial fractures while walking to her train on Washington Avenue.

Ankle Monitor Attacks: Repeat offender Marlon Miller was formally indicted after allegedly launching unprovoked punching attacks against three separate women in the Loop on a single day—all while actively wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet.

Daley Plaza Assaults: In early 2026, a 27-year-old woman named Bridget took to TikTok after being randomly struck in the head during her morning commute near Daley Plaza, an incident mirroring a similar assault on local ABC7 journalist Leah Hope.

How many more women have to be stalked, harassed, or hospitalized before the city addresses the revolving door for violent offenders?

Will China will take the uploaded data, and use it in there future AI. When some bright kid uploads a program to run a programing check, the China model would be able to copy all of it. maybe add some back doors and hidden programs. LOL perfect no wonder they are giving it away.
