@aishamadeit I think that ultimately giving up on working class people is the original sin of the Democratic Party and why we are where we are (obviously a lot more complex and nuanced but a big part of it)

@aishamadeit One thing for example was talk about how strong the Biden economy was when the majority of people are struggling enormously to pay bills and afford food. Dissonance between good economic policy that will work out in the long term and people's short term needs

@aishamadeit Most people don't pay attention to Politics or Government in their daily lives. They vote with their gut and based on their individual situation, not their brain or policy. We can keep ignoring this very well documented phenomenon or rethink how we campaign

@aishamadeit I think that the Democratic Party needs to be held to account. Losing to Trump twice can't be blamed on the electorate alone. It's their job to win elections and they've failed to do so, twice. It's not about standards to me, it's about rethinking what this party is for
