@JeremyWGR Does anyone honestly think Tuch is going to be worth 10-11 mil a year by the time he turns 32/33? Skinner fell of a cliff when he turned 31. Not saying that will be Tuch's fate but history shows far more players fade after they turn 30 then excel
@BraytonJWilson You are one of the ones that will just die on the Power stinks hill. Your probabaly one of the ones that wanted to run Sammy out of town too before his age 25 yeatr. Just admit you were wrong about Power and get over it. Also no team wants anything to do with Norris
@scottcwheeler I'm actually rooting for Marner to win a cup because Marner winning a cup to really set Leafs fans off outweighs Eichel winning a second. I think that would be hilarious
@SNY_Mets@WillSammon Only baseball players that don't want a cap are the 5% that are making 40-50 mil abyear like Soto. But a cap also brings a floor, and some many of the greedy owner bottom feeders would have to start paying the bottom 95% of players just to get to the floor
@23sabres From just a fwd perspective, would you take these lines on opening night 26/27?
Benson Larkin Tage
Ostlund Norris Doan
Quinn Marchment Helenius
Krebs Kulich Beck
Fwd added: Larkin trade
Marchment UFA
Fwds off roster/traded
Tuch, McLeod, Greenway, Zucker, Dunne, Pearson
@_MontyBurnham_@FOS No owner is "losing money." Revenue sharing and National/local TV contracts guarantee that. Even of they lose money on paper from ticket revenue, they are making money. Otherwise they wouldn't have a team. Would be insane to own a business that loses money every year
@WGR550 I would add in UPL here too. He's simply not it. Season to season, he simply has not shown he can put together consistent seasons and he's about to be 27. I would rather play against him on some other team
@NotTheJoeMarino You get EP and move Tage back to wing. Tage then becomes your Tuch replacement. Tage playing with a bonafied assist guy would get him to 50 goals. EP to playing with Tage gets him back to 60+ assists and 80-90+ pts. Gives us a 2-3 year window with those 2 in their prime together
@NotTheJoeMarino Yep, I think we've been kicking at the EP bucket for a few years now. Canucks are in full rebuild. They also have 2 aging goalies with big contracts that are no good to a rebuilding team. They need top 4 dman help and a young backup goalie. Does Kess and Levi help you get EP?
@MattKopnak Kess is entering his age 27 year. He was a 6th round pick. Not convinced he wasn't just a product of the system in Utah. But even if he is a true top 4, they are valuable assets in the NHL. Kess as part of a package could still net you a top 6 fwd assests if GM's see him that way
@WGR550 Sabres have the elements. They need a 1C and reliable goaltending. And no you don't have to replace Tuch if he walks. If you get a 1C and move Tage to wing he becomes Tuch's replacement
@WGR550 It's easier to win a Super Bowl then a Stanley Cup. With that said I would not want the Sabres and Bills to share anything in common except maybe ownership. The Sabres are actually in better shape to win a cup in 5 years right now then the Bills are to win a Super Bowl
@WGR550 I'm willing to take a long look at Ellis. His very first year in the NHL at age 25. He was a lot better then Levi was in the AHL and has been better in the NHL then Levi so far. Ellis was also a better prospect then Levi too. Ellis 3rd rnd pick and Levi was 7th rounder
@JackHannah1042@WGR550 He's a 7th rnd pick that has regressed year to year in college, AHL and NHL. He is not showing any ability to be better then his previous year. Big red flag. Can count on 1 hand the number of 7th rnd goalies drafted since 2005 that actually have been good. Move him while you can
@CMDeDominicis Can we please find a number one trustworthy starter some how in the offseason? I shouldn't have to hold my breath and gasp everytime the other team takes a shot on goal from above rhe faceoff circles
@brosiah_jgpat11@PatrickMoranTB People forget he used to get booed by a good portion of the crowd back back when he used to sing the anthem regularly after people found out he's kind of an ass
@Monica55dzrh If that was my bill I am leaving between $110-$130 depending on the service. But also, I wouldn't be caught dead going to a place that charges $34 for an Old Fashioned, $32 for a martini, or $15 for a cup of coffee. I can get a quality old fashion from my local whiskey bar for 12
