I had a very disturbing anti-American/pro-Belgium encounter at a local coffee shop this morning that required me to put a veteran in his place
I was sitting there diagraming plays when the waiter brought over breakfast for the elderly couple sitting beside me. “Two Belgian waffles with powdered sugar,” he said as he put them on the table.
“Are you really going to eat those Communist pancakes?” I asked them.
“What?” said the old man.
“Turn your hearing aids up, Gramps,” I said. “The US is playing Belgium tonight in the World Cup, and it looks like your loyalties are in the wrong place.”
“I fought in Vietnam,” he said.
“Well I don’t care if you single handedly won the Battle of the Chosen Reservoir, you need to support your country or get the hell out of this restaurant,” I replied.
“What?” he said, unable to hear.
I calmly picked up both their plates, strode over to the trash can, and dumped the waffles inside
I received a standing ovation
@BraytonJWilson Season tickets holders will have the scrimmage and a pre season game to attend before the open public practice. Great move by the Bills to allow the public to check out the new stadium. Not to mention us season ticket holders also got first dibs on training camp tickets as well
As a season ticket holder that paid for PSLs, I think this is great! I have three chances to see the stadium before the season starts. I don’t need to see it a fourth. For those that get into this practice, enjoy.
“This is a season ticket member event only now. Not a general admission event like it has been in the past.”
The #Bills' first event at the new Highmark Stadium–The Return of the Blue & Red scrimmage–will be for season ticket holders.
