This is the best book I’ve ever read. Heartwarming, badass, gut-wrenching, hilarious… It’s brought me to tears so many times, for so many reasons. Fuck.

I’m saying it would be fucking hilarious (and surprisingly fitting) for them to kiss. My vision is Abigail after just enough retirement attempts to realise what’s going on, and Larat gets pulled back into the Story by something, they end up working together to escape.

Path of the Immeasurable Swarm is the best post-GM fic for a number of reasons, but the main one is Mercy. Everything about Taylor and Mercy’s dynamic is such a perfect continuation of Taylor’s arc, I’m shocked this is the only place I’ve seen anything like it.

@Kitsu_Maru @butchseiya It’s a bit tricky to read rn because it’s currently going through a rewrite, which has only gotten through the first book so far. A lot of the terminology is different and I think it ends at a different point, and the only way to access the original book 1 is piracy.

I just put on Still They Pray by Cough for the first time in genuinely more than a year, thinking it would still be good but wouldn’t be my favourite album anymore because my taste has changed a bit and I’ve discovered a bunch of new ones. Nope lol. Still peak.

Cat’s a villain because she’s willing to cross any line to accomplish her goals, but it can be kinda easy to forget in the later books because so often she’s the one who bears the cost. It would be nice to have her do something to remind us.

Part of me wishes the Red Axe wasn’t in on the Bard’s plan. It kinda exonerates Catherine to a degree, and obfuscates that she is absolutely willing to execute a woman for killing her rapist if she thinks not doing so will hurt her goals.

It’s kinda a shame that Larat and his not-Fae don’t show up at Keter as some sort of final service to their Queen. Wonder how foxy boy is doing.
