This morning I side parted my hair, braided the front pieces, pinned them up, and twisted the rest securing it with a claw clip. Steps I’ve taken so many times before. But no less than 3 colleagues commented “you did your hair!” A sad commentary on the state of my self care.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but I just steamed my #pirogies in a cup of water mixed with #tacoseasoning and a can of black beans. 10/10 will do this again. Topped with shredded cheese, salsa, and avocado ranch. Did not photograph well so you’re welcome twitter.

I knew I was socially awkward/anxious before, but now I really feel it. I miss when the only person I saw all week was my husband; the only time I left the house was to buy food, wash my clothes, & walk in the woods; & once a week my whole family made time to talk for an hour.
