@areyoflight Vulnerable people often need more that bei g talked to. A sheltered training environment for a while ca help more, these are rarely available now
@Feargal_Sharkey Isn't the essence of stupidity repeating the same act and expecting a different outcome. Thames has done private equity before and the effect for the UK was unsatisfactory to say the least
Between them, biased Laura Kuenssberg, Fiona Bruce & Chris Mason are paid £1 million. They should be sacked to make way for new blood. Please retweet or like if you agree.
Laura K: £325K, Fiona B: £405K, Chris M: £270K #BBCLauraK
@NathalieAgape@mrexits@elonmusk Iam afraid you make a common mistake of assuming all capitalism the same. Changes through time and operate differently in different countries. Eg US privatised medicine costs the most but bankrupts many and delivers worse outcomes than othe socialised models
@mrexits Interesting data but absolutely wrong to give the win to capitalism alone. The cumulative effect of science and medical knowledge is substantially a consequence of state intervention with some privately generated cash. Not all capitalism same. See Spirit Level
This is now intolerable, criminal and at the most crucial tipping point yet.
Israel and the US are AWOL on all law & morality and must be stopped. No ifs or buts or hiding heads in the sand from it.
We need to face it head on. Write to your MP. Urgently.
“It's not anti-Semitic to say what 1$rael is doing is wrong... I cry on Regular basis when i see certain images (of children in GAZA)...
—British broadcaster and football legend Gary Lineker
It's quite simple.
You cannot say you oppose Israel's plan for the mass ethnic cleansing of Gaza if you keep providing them with the weapons they need to carry it out.
The government’s refusal to end all arms sales to Israel is becoming more egregious by the day.
@PeterStefanovi2 The recent Trussell Trust report shows that this is a false economy. But never mind the distress and suffering and lost opportunity it represents
