The talent isn't the problem the play calling is.

Schottenheimer has ripped out everything that made this offense top 2 in yards last year. Motion went from 13th to dead last. Run rate is dead last. When you won't run and won't move guys pre snap defenses know it's a pass every down and just send the house. The Bucs did it the Packers did it and Dak got hammered both times Result 30+ PPG the first month 14.5 the last 2 weeks

The game management has been just as bad. In Green Bay 54 passes to 15 runs two red zone picks and two failed 4th downs in the 4th quarter. Against Tampa lost at home to an 0-4 team starting a rookie QB and a botched 2 point try left them down 8 instead of 7

And none of this should be a surprise. In 12 years as an OC with the Jets, Rams and Seahawks, he finished top 10 in scoring only 4 times three straight years with the Rams, never better than 21st.

The Cowboys need to fire Brian Schottenheimer right now. This shit is embarrassing. Same soft, undisciplined, poorly coached team every single week. Nothing’s changing and it won’t until Jerry stops hiring yes-men and protecting mediocrity.

But Micah asked for that meeting and sat in Jerry office for hours talking numbers If he didn’t want a deal without his agent he would’ve said talk to Mulugheta and left he stayed in it then when it didn’t go how he wanted he said no and sat out practice that’s not a sneak that’s him in the room then changing it after it didnt work like he wanted
12 sacks don’t wash that. Jerry waited too long Micah sat both of them lost.
We still got 2 sacks in 3 games and QBs throwing on time that’s the problem now.

New system. New coordinator. New calls. A lot of new pieces on that side of the ball. Week 1 is going to look messy when you’re installing that.
The Giants found a picture and ran it. That’s on us. Those are corrections you make in the film room and on the practice field. That’s coaching. That’s not a season verdict.
You don’t evaluate a defense after one Sunday. You give it 8 to 10 games. You see if the Mike and the edge are playing the same call. You see if they get off the field on third down.
