Like everyone else in Malta I’m watching the Yorgen Fenech interrogation tapes. Absenting jury interference, it is clear that (among other things) the judge didn’t explain the offence of conspiracy well enough since these tapes include a clear admission.

Slovakia: Fico hollowed out the prosecution (the tax evasion case fell through the gap)

In Malta, Yorgen Fenech admitted paying money to Daphne’s killers, admitted covering it up, and asked for a pardon 3 times - a jury acquitted him anyway. He walks free.

In Slovakia, Kočner was acquitted of Jan’s assassination (under appeal). He is in prison for tax evasion.
