Finance 101 courtesy of SB19
Time and time again SB19 proves kung may tinanim may aanihin. Tama? Tama
They invested sa concerts nila like SAW and WAS and MVs like Dam…..and it gained them a awards and even a spot in Summersonic
Pinaghandaan at binigay ang lahat sa AAA 2023 performance…..and it scored them ACON 2025 and potentially AAA 2026 (fingeracross)
Invested sa Japan for Pagtatag con, Felip saw potential and did his own solo con that got him invited sa DUNK….coz of that Felip scored song collabs, they gained solid Japan A’tin, able to soldout SAW con, performed sa same DUNK show, to performing 2 days sa Summersonic
Ung pinaghirapan and pinagkagastusan nila iniinvest nila pabalik sa production ng music nila and company and this gave them soooooo much more in return
Parang good advise to for personal finance management no ➡️ DAPAT UNG PERA UMIIKOT DI LANG NAKATAGO AND MOST IMPORTANTLY INVEST SA SARILI FOR YOUR GROWTH
Sobrang random......
Imagine if SB19 will retire babalik ulit tayo sa industriya na monopolized ng conglomerates and giant networks.
Kaya pls boys wag muna ha
I don’t know if this is common or unpopular opinion but we should stop gauging SB19’s success solely based on how big the stage they’re performing on is or how viral their songs become.
Sure reach is important for performers but they’re no longer JUST performers. They’re Artists and Entrepreneurs.
As they mature their success is defined differently now,
1. Creative Freedom = Success As Artists (both solo and as a group), they have the freedom to choose how they want to express their craft. They’re not bound by corp politics and bureaucracy
2. Honing New Artists = Success Developing new artists means their company is expanding, and expansion is business growth. Their focus now is future-proofing 1Z so it won’t rely on just one artist for income
3. Investing in New Markets = Success We’ve always known SB19 for being meticulous with their songs and MVs. Now we’re seeing how they apply the same mindset to making strategic business decisions.
From keeping their team small and consistently working with close-knit but equally talented production team, to carefully choosing the markets they want to penetrate.
It’s not just about performing for one show, it’s about building a loyal fanbase and meaningful connections in markets like Taiwan and Japan.
As business owners of a small company, I commend them making smart decisions like which shows to accept and artists to collaborate with that can yield them ROI - whether through revenue, reach, or long-term growth.
For me their path is clear, they aim for LONGEVITY as Artists, Producers, Label Owners, and a Talent Management Company.
@mayjyanai@SB19Official It makes sense din besides genre looks like they were given a stage w/ groups na may solid Japanese local fanbase na vs stages for international acts
Of course it's an honor if maline up with big names sa major stage but this thought process may make sense din from organizers pov
