@natisneato@Irenicus67 Narrative to me is argumentative in the sense that it’s a long sequence of “if this then that,” but lore is axiomatic (“the way things are”)
we have seen, in real time, the disappearance of this person's eyes. once normal-sized, they have been shrinking back into their sockets & most recently have become slits. #DemonicPossession
@flowzr91@Azalakhir1@richard_normal Also without corpse explosion or crippling cloud in the pool the solution space doesn’t really contain a pivot point that was p common in sts1, where you’d draft an early poison card for its utility and then get offered a catalyst later and decide to lean into the synergy
@flowzr91@Azalakhir1@richard_normal There’s a ton of nuanced ways the cards are different! It’s a power now so burst-catalyst isn’t something you should be thinking about but also because it’s a power it’s not a dead draw in the first deck cycle
@Azalakhir1@flowzr91@richard_normal Catalyst/accelerant are still great cards ofc and sometimes you do have to draft poison to kill a boss before you get offered block cards but in my experience it’s not a very common part of the solution space to find yourself in where a catalyst wins you the run
@Azalakhir1@flowzr91@richard_normal I think this is even more true in sts2 cause i haven’t seen many of the scary damage races (eg hexaghost, reptomancer, spear & shield)
