It's remarkable how intelligent people can behave foolishly.
Usually, that's a matter of convenient posture that serves a PURPOSE...
The American deficit is backed by the army and global domination. It's not economy-based.
So relax: The USA's not going bankrupt anytime soon.
That's true, but according to Lyubomir Toshev, a software architect at EnduroSat, it is the first entirely Bulgarian satellite with a scientific and security purpose. While the company has previously launched dozens of other satellites, they were primarily for commercial purposes.
So, more or less, it's the first under the control of the Bulgarian government and the scientific community
@pjparkjd@Sargon_of_Akkad Yes, it's that bad. Over 100M+ victims, prison time for jokes, equality in poverty, one tiny super rich and powerful political class, living in luxury.
Guys, you gotta be rich enough to do such exercises...
Moving your whole life there to save from taxes is the wrong way.
Do you think some billionaire or a mafia boss needs to live there and protect their residency to have an operating company and get tax benefits?
Those are just shell companies, friends...
I will tell you how it is done: You get a good local lawyer, and they will run the stuff for you.
But it's not cheap...
And it can turn out to be really "pricey." Like "stolen money" pricey or "prison time" pricey.
That's why a couple of million dollars is not enough...
You need to have a breaking-legs-and-cutting-fingers level in the game.
2 years ago, I moved my entire life to Cyprus to escape Germany's 50% tax rate.
It was the most expensive "money-saving" decision I've ever made.
Here's 21 brutal realities of tax haven living (that nobody warns you about):
You're just not rich enough and, thus - making it the wrong way... Do you think some billionaire or a mafia boss needs to count days to have an operating company there and get tax benefits?
Those are just shell companies, friend...
People like you and I... we are just both not wicked and rich enough to play that game
Yeah, I'm saying that right from the start... You can't use AI tools properly if you're not able to judge the result professionally.
So first, you need to become a pro... and then jump on the AI tools

To succeed with freelancing, you need three things:
1) To be good at your profession
2) To know how to market your services
3) To be able to sell your service
Once upon a time, in my home country, the term "blogger" was understood as "unemployed."
Nowadays, "influencer" and "freelancer" are understood the same way...
Especially the older generations: I experience difficulties to convince them that freelancing is serious sh*t even though I make more money working less hours than them.

It's not just the quality of your work that matters regarding the price you can ask for it...
It's also the "quality" of your clients.
Better clients appreciate reliable service providers and thus pay better prices.
Freelancing is an obsession. It's not just a way to make some quick buck.
It's for true freedom-seekers only...
It's for the brave and responsible...
It's for anybody sick of underselling their skills to make somebody else wealthy in exchange for "security."
Nothing is secure...
Actually, having just one income stream from one company makes you totally vulnerable and overly dependent on it.
The sooner one realizes it, the better life they can start building.
While I kind of understand your worries,
@bozhobg
, I'm also puzzled why an IT expert like you is not aware of things like IP addresses, geolocation, "bad neighborhood servers," AI content detection, and other ways of detecting "non-domestic" bots.
I'm sure some smart people can set a reasonable definition and criteria for a "bot network" that must be restricted.
What I really like in this plan is the stuff like:
1) The right to know if you are shadow banned + opportunity to appeal
2) The need for a court order to take down content
3) The prosecution of all involved in censorship
4) The right to receive unfiltered and not curated content if you wish
Without mass shadow banning and censorship, social media will become noisy. And some people may get deceived.
However, you cannot learn "critical thinking" without being exposed to free speech, and you cannot protect the truth without it.
Centralized censorship (Newspeak) is a far worse phenomenon (the enemy within) than amplified propaganda (the enemy without).
