81-YEAR-OLD FATHER BAPTIZED AFTER HIS SON PRAYED FOR HIS SALVATION FOR 35 YEARS
What a powerful reminder to never stop praying for the people you love.
At Lakepointe Church, an 81-year-old father was baptized by his own son after that son had reportedly prayed for his salvation for 35 years.
Thirty-five years.
Years of praying.
Years of waiting.
Years of hoping.
And then came the moment he had prayed for.
His father publicly declared his faith in Jesus Christ through baptism.
📖 “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” — Acts 16:31
For Christians, this is a reminder that we should never assume someone is too old, too far gone or too hardened to come to Christ.
God can reach a heart at 18.
At 40.
At 60.
Or at 81.
If they’re still breathing, there’s still hope.
Keep praying.
Keep loving.
Keep sharing Jesus.
You never know when the prayer you have carried for decades may finally be answered. ✝️🙏❤️
