@ogundevin5@streetchilduk Sure,we don't need to import fish from China,we just need to empower our people on low cost, high income, environmentally friendly livelihood initiatives.
With our partner @streetchilduk ,we embark on conservation agriculture in lots of Kenya. In Siaya County,we are supporting local communities to start cage fish farming instead of overfishing threatening local species & ecological balance. This will also combat sex-for-fish menace
responsible for widespread HIV/AIDS prevelance where often most women can't access fish to trade unless they offer sexual favours. Women will be supported to own cages, grow, harvest & trade their fish. We can't change the culture of fishing, but we seek to make it adapt.
We have been to rural communities, often difficult to reach. With partner, @streetchilduk we are reaching new communities in Kenya to combat environmental degredation of L. Victoria, introducing cage fish farming to women to combat fish-for-sex trade responsible for HIV/AIDs spread
