Opus 4.7 is a disaster :(
downgrading to 4.6...
there's no option to do it by default, so here's how you do it:
add `"model": "claude-opus-4-6"` to your ~/.claude/settings.json
or
use the CLI flag: claude --model claude-opus-4-6

I experienced regression in its ability to see the big picture and follow project guidelines intelligently, compared to 4.6.
it actually caused some data loss due to not fully understand what it does.
unpopular prediction: the next big UX pattern isn't chat.
it's watching your agents go do things while you sit back.
it's more satisfying than it sounds. building toward this.
