The biggest new customer of AI is another AI. On OpenRouter, agentic usage is up 14x since Feb 2025.

Humans? 2.8x.

Agents out-pull people. Before you spiral on bills: ~70% of that agent volume rides on cheap cached prompts.

You control cache hit rate. Cost hides there.

Thought your voice pipeline sent everything to Deepgram? Maybe not.

Vercel AI SDK fixed it: options like keyterm, paragraphs, sentiment, intents, replace were silently dropped before /v1/listen.

Diarize is now off by default (a paid add-on). Check costs and output first.
