@elgermerlo I use Resend for transactional mails. Then I just send the mails directly from the code when the event is triggered that I want. With AI especially you can do it in just one or two prompts

implemented a live interactive dashboard preview in the hero to replace a static screenshot. Hope to increase the understanding for the product like this.

Most uptime tools are built for teams with 50 services and a budget to match.

I'm building uptent for the opposite: solo builders juggling 5 side projects who just want to know when one goes down.

@i_mika_el All of it. I am glad that I was already coding pre AI. Because I think I couldn't get myself to learn it right now when it feels so useless. But I think knowing your code is a must if you want to build secure, reliable products

Unpopular opinion: if your app has real users, self-host.

Not because it’s trendy. Because:

- predictable pricing (no surprise bills)
- you own the whole stack, no dependency on Vercel
- 1-2 days of setup, once, vs. months of “wait, why is this so expensive now”

Vibe-coding got you to launch. This is what keeps you in control.
