@stevie_chick Agreed all around. I was hoping the move to Fat Possum might have eventually seen wider reissues for albums like Hiding Places, but if this is the sort of price then I don't think I can justify it to myself. A real shame because this one absolutely slays.
One week to go! I'm taking part in the sponsored sleepout at Goodison Park, raising funds for homelessness resources on Merseyside ahead of what's likely to be another hard winter. If you're in a position to do so, please consider donating! https://t.co/7vk7RhOsiz

@doublenegativeM Loved their first album - the moment seemed to have passed when the second one finally arrived. Still think about the singles and a few of the tracks off We Are Puppets quite often though. Had a really nice, shonky Fall vibe to a lot of their songs.
Part Chimp (Liverpool, 2005), A Place To Bury Strangers (Manchester, 2009), Unfun (Liverpool, 2011) and Boredoms (ATP, 2012) are all in with a shout of having absolutely annihilated my eardrums. I remember life before the permanent whistle, but only just.
@Trafford Ambulance and Flamingo 50 supported and they were both excellent. Probably still got the flyer in a box somewhere. Great night anyway, think it was something daft like a fiver in.
@Trafford Also I didn’t realise Sadie Benning had left and spent ages trying to work out why JD looked so different to the picture on the album sleeve. And Kathleen Hanna talked about it being difficult to go for a wee when wearing a boiler suit. Oh, and Le Tigre were ace!
@Trafford Yes! And I remember someone shouting: “Suck my left one!” and a guy at the front snorted dismissively: “Huh! You’re ‘funny’.”
The first guy replied: “It’s a Bikini Kill song, you dick,” but maybe this wasn’t such a great zinger given they weren’t watching Bikini Kill.
