Now I'm going deep into a question I think organisations are going to be forced to answer:
Can we trust this document?
I'll research it. Write about it. Challenge assumptions. Build technology around it. And document what I learn here.
Welcome to @BuiltByThoko.
I'm starting something today. I'm building my next technology career in public. My focus: Document Fraud. Digital Trust. Document Cybersecurity. I've spent years in technology, banking and entrepreneurship.
Today is my Gogoโs Birthday! Today, ten years ago on this day I launched @nilotiqa
As I pay homage to both the brand and my grandmother, Elizabeth Kerotse Mzimela aka mamMzimela, I take her lessons and my faith into the next years of sharing & building.
Happy birthday Gogo!
The subject exists between storm and sunrise, navigating identity, purpose, and growth. The presence of light throughout the chaos suggests one defining truth: this mind is not lost โ it is becoming."
I asked ChatGPT:
โBased on my chats with you make an interpretive painting of what my mental health looks like if it was in an art museumโ
See Interpretation ๐๐พ
โThis piece portrays a mind in transition โ balancing emotional intensity with ambition, solitude with creativity, and uncertainty with resilience. It is not a portrait of suffering, but of evolution.

Ne go le monate! ๐๐๐ฝ๐
To our remarkable guests, panelists, sponsors, and radiant host, Lebang Kgosana; your wisdom, your courage, and your honesty reminded us what leadership looks like when it is rooted in purpose.
We shared with her that the beautiful, soft and smooth Nilotica Shea Butter is actually the inspiration behind @Nilotiqa โ the proudly South African ๐ฟ๐ฆ brand she knows and loves today.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. ๐ฅน
Loved this engagement! โจ
This lovely lady immediately recognised Nilotica Shea Butter โ she even told us she once asked for it all the way from Tanzania! ๐น๐ฟ
It was a moment to reflect, and to celebrate the resilience it takes to create something meaningful.
Thank you to the Ko.Kreate community for holding space for bold visions.
To every woman building her dream โ keep going. Your story is still unfolding ๐ซ
I had the honour of speaking at the @the_ko.kreators event, sharing my journey as the founder of @Nilotiqa.
Standing in that room reminded me how far this dream has come โ from designing my own packaging on PowerPoint to building a brand rooted in science, culture, and purpose.
Letโs be honest, most entrepreneurs donโt need a 40 page Business Plan that doesnโt match the real world.
They need clarity on ONE PAGE!
Looking forward to this practical keynote tomorrow ๐ซ
From Idea to Execution: how to start your first business.
This topic is so close to my heart, and Iโll be specifically talking about: โThe 1-Page Lean Business Model Canvas, Setting Goals, Priorities & Early Metricsโ
The first thing I said to the host as soon as I met her on the day wasโฆ if I am still going on about @Nilotiqa Beauty after all this timeโฆ then you canโt give up!
Loved sharing my journey with Nilotiqa the @Ko.Kreate Women in Media Empowerment Event ๐ซ
The question was: โMany young women who want to start businesses do not know what it takes and seems to give up early. What advice can you give them as you continue to build your business 10 years later?โ
