you can sponsor a coffee for "the next regular" at a cafe, and some stranger who checks in later gets it on you

no idea if this becomes anything but paying it forward to a random person at your spot is kind of a fun idea

spent some time fixing cafe pins that imported like 500m off

found one in flushing where the route button would've sent you to the wrong block entirely

nobody tells you the password is taped under the register or just doesn't work

added a thing where people can drop the actual wifi password for a spot. small but maybe the most nyc feature we've shipped

1 outlet
tiny tables
weak wifi
no seats
no real way to tell if it’s actually laptop friendly

lowkey the hardest part of building a cafe map is that “good cafe” means completely different things to different people

some people want quiet
some people want outlets
some people want good matcha
some people just want to sit and not feel rushed
