I feel you are not even giving open source models a try. I’d love for you to check out @CommandCodeAI (founder here).

While we support claude/gpt sota models, we are the most used coding harness for DeepSeek and 3rd most on Kimi.

If you check my profile I wrote several engineering deep-dives fixing open models tool calling, caching, speed, and mostly helped developers get over “open models aren’t there yet” problem.

This is what differentiates us from other harnesses. Every model we add support for has custom specialized tooling to improve DX.
