@Jesus75257357 @ShadesOfBlueAn1@USTechWorkers@elonmusk removing the country cap won't solve the issue as it will only put people from other countries in the same miserable situation. The right solution is to add more greencard.
@ShadesOfBlueAn1 The 7% country cap is the same for everyone regardless of your race and country of origin!
It is there to make sure everyone is treated equally!
@ShadesOfBlueAn1 Wrong analogy! You are analogizing an immigration issue to a domestic issue. You probably did this on purpose to confuse people. Do people from Maine need visas to travel and work in the US? The answer is apparently NO! Can you use this to argue visas are discriminatory? NO!
@ShadesOfBlueAn1@FWDus@ImproveTheDream#DACA dreamers are like the poor as they have little. In contrast, "documented dreamers" are like the rich as they have much more.
What you are saying is more like the rich are complaining that "the poor are getting too much why don't you help the rich to get more!?"
@ShadesOfBlueAn1@JudiciaryDems It is all about YOUR green card. Anyone that won't help you get your green card faster hates you and is a "racist" by your definition
@CongressmanRaja the fundamental issue of the backlog is not enough green card quota. Simply removing the country cap obviously won't solve the backlog. Even if you succeed, there will be still 1.2 million people stuck in the backlog waiting to contribute GREATLY to the economy.
